About the Role Based at our global headquarters in Munich, as a Value Engineering Manager / Director for CPG & Retail, you will hold full operational and leadership responsibility specifically for the CPG & Retail segment across the DACH region. In this role, you will lead a dedicated, high-performing team of 6–7 Value Engineers operating at the intersection of process transformation, executive consulting, and AI-driven product execution, driving the end-to-end customer value journey and accelerating enterprise AI adoption across major retail and consumer goods brands. In this role, you will serve as a player-coach, actively guiding, coaching, and developing a talented, high-potential team with diverse backgrounds spanning supply chain, procurement, management consulting, and retail operations. This role offers tremendous growth potential as you both develop and learn alongside top-tier talent, while serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives at major enterprise accounts. Key Responsibilities Drive Business Outcomes & Account Growth: Take full ownership of ARR targets, renewal forecasts, and net retention across the DACH CPG & Retail sector. Ensure high forecasting accuracy and steer accounts toward tangible, realized value. People Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, onboard, lead, and mentor a team of 6–7 Munich-based Value Engineers. Maintain high standards through proactive coaching, performance management, and career progression planning. Executive Advisory & Player-Coach: Serve as a Celonis Executive Sponsor on critical DACH deals. Join your team in the field to lead high-impact executive meetings, dry runs, value sprints, and strategic transformation workshops.
