QA Engineering Intern (w/m/x/d)

Join the ride!As a QA Engineering Intern you learn how we keep our products reliable, from the first test idea to a release in the app stores. You test our consumer mobile app and our business web platform alongside experienced engineers. We build with a lot of AI, and a machine-written test can pass without proving anything. Careful human checks on real devices make the difference, and that is where you help. Note: This role is a Berlin based full time internship limited to 6 months. Your ResponsibilityTest on real iOS and Android devices, by script and by explorationRun release checklists before each app releaseCheck the web platform against written acceptance criteria and record results with evidenceSend API requests with Postman and check the responsesWrite and run your first automated tests with Appium or Playwright, with code reviewWrite clear, reproducible bug reports and follow them through to a fixMaintain test data and test accounts, never using real customer dataEffectively deploy and use AI agents Your ExperienceA recent degree or bootcamp in computer science or a related field, or a career change into techAt least one of Java, JavaScript or TypeScriptThe basics of HTTP and APIs: requests, responses, status codes and JSONCuriosity about how mobile and web apps work and how they breakAttention to detail and patience with repetitive checksClear writing in EnglishComfortable using both iOS and Android, and open to learning SQLHighly desired First experience with Postman or a similar API clientFirst experience with Appium, Playwright or another test automation toolBasic Git skills and a project we can look atFirst experience with AI coding tools, and healthy scepticism of their outputBasic scripting and SQLInterest in security testingA valid driving licence (EU category B or equivalent)Don't tick every box?
