Your missionThe Bikeleasing Group continues to grow and is expanding its international tax function. As a Senior Tax Manager (gn), your initial focus will be on our tax matters in Germany. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to develop international topics and structures together with the relevant stakeholders. Close collaboration with external tax advisory firms, specialist departments, authorities and our parent company will be part of your daily work. The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in Germany and includes occasional business travel. Sounds good? Then we look forward to getting to know you.
Your tasks
You will manage the Bikeleasing Group’s tax matters independently, initially with a focus on Germany and increasingly on international topics in the futureYou will prepare tax returns, tax declarations, input tax refund claims and withholding tax applications carefully and on timeYou will be responsible for tax calculations in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as the IFRS reporting package for our parent companyYou will continuously monitor, document and optimise intra-group transfer pricingYou will actively contribute your expertise to VAT-related matters and tax auditsAs the central point of contact for specialist departments, external tax advisory firms and authorities, you will provide clarity on complex tax mattersYou will further develop international tax topics and tax processes together with the relevant stakeholders
Your profileA completed degree in business administration, economics or law with a focus on taxation, or a comparable qualificationAt least five years of professional experience in the tax department of a company or at an auditing or tax advisory firmIn-depth knowledge of German tax law and, ideally, international tax lawPractical experience with accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and, ideally, knowledge of IFRSFamiliarity with group structures and the related accounting requirementsA successfully completed German tax consultant examination is desirableA structured and precise approach to work, as well as confidence when dealing with authorities and external partners
