Your missionYou lead a cross-functional team of 4-6 software developers and ensure their further development, both disciplinary and technicalYou and your team contribute to the further development of several core parts of our software. Depending on the situation, you will take on different roles: coach, motivator or sparring partner You are still hands-on yourself and actively develop and contribute to high quality through code reviewsBe the coach of the team members, run 1:1s and feedback discussionsSupport the personal and career development of individual developersSupport team culture and bonding via team events and other measuresHire new team members and align the needs of your team with the engineering manager Your profileProfound engineering experienceUniversity degree in computer science, engineering or similar5+ years of hands-on development experience in Python, C++/Rust is a plusYou already have experience in managing/leading a team incl. hiring, 1:1s, giving feedback, building teams, delivering quality code on timeYou still like to develop code but want to have a bigger impact beyond that by shaping your team.You see yourself accountable for the results of your teamYou have positive energy and are a motivating spiritYou thrive in international environments and are fluent in English.
