Finance & Investor Relations Intern - Berlin Cherry Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2012 and based in Berlin, London and Stockholm. We are a team of former entrepreneurs and operators with experience building fast-scaling companies such as Zalando, Spotify and Uber. We have invested in over 140 companies across Europe, including Flix, Auto1, Amboss, Manual, Numa, Moss, Swap, Tacto and The Exploration Company. We are looking for an additional team member to join as a Finance & Investor Relations Intern starting January 2027 for a period of 3-6 months. For this role: You would need to either have an EU passport or an existing permit to work in Germany as we are unfortunately not able to sponsor visas. Requirements As part of the Finance & Investor Relations Team, you will: Work closely together with a dynamic team with operational and investment banking backgroundsAssist in the preparation of strategy and marketing materials for investorsAssist with various investor relations activities including preparation of advisory board deck, investor calls and quarterly reportingBe involved in fund finance activities including liaising with fund administrators, lawyers and banksContribute to building a world-class early-stage venture capital fund by taking on additional responsibilities Key requirements include: Prior experience in a start-up, VC/PE fund, consulting, or bankingStrong analytical background, extremely well-versed in working with quantitative dataProficient in Microsoft Office and with AI toolsStrong organisational skillsEnrolled in or concluded a Master’s Degree at a top-tier university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, similar fields or have prior experience in the sectorBasic understanding of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flowsYou have an international and multicultural mindset/backgroundEnglish working proficiency What can you expect?
