Trump sends envoys Witkoff and Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv with new plan to 'end the war'

US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are travelling to Moscow and Kyiv this weekend with what US President Donald Trump says is a new proposal to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Despite Trump's promises to resolve the conflict, Washington's efforts to broker a peace have so far come to nothing.
