Electrical BIM Designer

Qualifications:Here's what you'll need • High school graduate or equivalent • At least 3 years of BIM design experience • At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and the construction industry • A growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions • A growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function • Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment • Experience following client design and modeling standards • Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided mark-ups and/or verbal direction requests • Willingness to learn new things Ideally, you'll also have:• At least 3 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD design experience • Understanding of data center environments • Knowledge and design experience with power, cable routing, and lighting systems • Knowledge of electrical systems and one-line diagrams Responsibilities:This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States.
