Historic lows expected for French wine harvest after record summer heatwaves

With its wine industry hit by a swathe of summer heatwaves, France is set to see this year's harvest hit a historic low. The total harvest is down 14 percent below the 2021–2025 average, according to estimates published Wednesday by the ministry of agriculture.
