Former Kosovo president sentenced to 25 years for war crimes

Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci was found guilty of war crimes committed as part of the Kosovo Liberation Army including murder, torture and illegal arrests by a tribunal in The Hague on Wednesday. Thaci was sentenced to 25 ​years in prison alongside fellow former KLA figures who were also found guilty and sentenced.
