Your role at Kittl
Partnerships is how Kittl reaches small business founders through people they already trust. Influencer marketing is the heart of this role: you’ll source, negotiate and brief creators whose audiences are print-on-demand sellers, Etsy and Shopify shop owners and small product brands, and turn scattered posts into a channel we can forecast.
You’ll own affiliate, but most of your time goes into creators. You’ll take a portfolio, diversify who we work with, raise the content bar, and use performance data to decide what to scale, renegotiate or stop. This is a senior individual contributor role with real authority over which partners we bet on, and how much.
Tasks
What you'll do
Own a portfolio of creator partnerships end to end: sourcing, vetting for brand fit, negotiating, briefing and measuring
Build real relationships with creators in the segments our go-to-market depends on, and hold a high content bar
Scale what already works, and test new partnership types where our audiences overlap
Run campaigns and their budget, and show what each euro returned
Own the affiliate programme: commissions, onboarding, and moving partners from signed up to recurring producer
Report on signups, subscriptions and CAC on a regular cadence, and keep payments, CRM and tracking clean
Requirements
What you'll need
5+ years in influencer marketing or partnerships, running paid YouTube and Instagram creator deals yourself: sourcing, negotiating, renewing and cutting
You judge creators on what they convert, not what they reach, and you've renegotiated or ended a deal because of CAC
Hands-on affiliate experience: commission tiers, tracking, partner activation
You can carry 60+ active partners, and tell a creator their work isn't good enough without losing them
You've owned a partnerships budget and can defend how you spent it, with a CRM that's actually current
Nice to have
Experience in a creative tool, design, DTC or e-commerce business, ideally a subscription app
Opening new channels or business and platform partnerships
TikTok creator experience
Additional languages are always a plus to communicate with the influencers in their own language, but not a must
Paid amplification of creator content on Meta and YouTube
Tools you'll use
HubSpot: our primary CRM for the partner network
Metabase: reporting on spend and performance
Claude: as much as you want, for exploring and building
Notion: documentation
Trudy and VidIQ: checking creator metrics
Interview process
Intro call with your recruiter (30 min)
Interview with the hiring manager (45 min)
A short take-home challenge, done in your own time
Challenge discussion with the hiring manager and a growth stakeholder (60 min)
Bar raiser conversation with someone outside the team (30 min)
You'll do well here if:
You pick up problems nobody assigned you. If something's broken and no one has stepped up, you're the person who does
You'd rather make the call and adjust than wait until you're certain. Speed is how we win
You want to own a domain deeply enough that people rely on your judgement in it, whether or not you manage anyone
You'll argue for your position and commit fully when the call goes the other way
You care about details other people would call excessiv
