Freelance Assistant - Global Merchandising (AE Men's)

POSITION TITLE: Assistant – Global Merchandising, AE Men’s REPORTS TO: Manager/Associate Manager – Global Merchandising, AE Men’s PURPOSE• Assists in the development of a commercially viable global assortment which services the needs of all international markets, for assigned division of business, in collaboration with merchandising, design & production teams • Manages sell-in tools and samples for international partners in preparation for go-to-market RESPONSIBILITIES• Understands international product strategies for assigned departments/division at every milestone meeting (roadmap, product alignment, coordination) and prepares the tools and templates required to communicate to CFT • Participates in relevant product milestones to understand how the total assortment is developing, makes recommendations to Manager on additions to meet international business requirements • Collaborates w/manager on geo specific product needs; ensuring product development execution meets international assortment needs and is reflected in the global roadmap.
