Social Media & Event Management Intern (Pflichtpraktikum)

Looking for a social media & event management internship with real responsibility? Pausify is building a platform that brings book lovers together offline. We started in Berlin, where thousands of people have already joined our sessions and we’ve built a community of 27K+ people on Instagram. Now we’re taking the next step: building a platform where anyone can find or host a Pausify session nearby — in a café, park, bakery, living room, or wherever people want to meet. Our goal is simple but ambitious: make reading more social, more visible and a bigger part of everyday life again. And we’re looking for someone who can help us tell that story and help us grow our community. The duration and number of working hours can be adjusted to the requirements of your study program. Tasks What you’ll do Support the planning, organization and management of our community events in Berlin Create content for Pausify on social media Experiment with formats and concepts and learn what works Turn Pausify events, people and our mission into good stories Get hands-on experience with Meta Ads (setting up campaigns and understanding what performs) Help shape the voice and content style of a growing brand Bring your own marketing ideas — if you see something we should try, we want to hear it! The internship is hybrid. Two days per week on-site in Berlin; the remaining days can be worked remotely. The exact arrangement can be adjusted flexibly. Requirements You know how to make content that feels fun, relatable and worth watching, and you're excited to gain hands-on experience in event management and community building That’s pretty much it. :) We care much more about what you can create (or interested to learn) than what’s on your CV. Please send us a few examples of social media content you’ve made. Everything else — CV, previous jobs, degree — is optional. Benefits Free access to Pausify sessions. Important This is an unpaid Pflichtpraktikum for students whose study program requires an internship. The duration and working hours can be adapted to your university requirements.
