Sabotage halts Syria gas pipeline in latest attack on energy sector

Remnants of the so-called IS terrorist group have continued to target energy infrastructure after the fall of al-Assad in the eastern province of Deir ez-Zor. Syria produces a fraction of its pre-war gas output against increasingly high demand.
